TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :

The VolAmp Thin Wire Fibre Optic Converter has been designed to a high level of performance and in accordance with ISO, IEEE AND ECMA Standards.
Connections are made to the standard 50Ohm BNC Thin Wire port and the fibre optic transmit and receive ports. The fibre Optic connections are via ST or SMA connectors and will accept 50/125, 62.5/125, 85/125 or 100/140 fibres without adjustment.
A pair of MC FXB maybe used together to create a thin wire to thin wire fibre optic link.
As well as conforming to the IEEE 802.3 for Transceivers the additional requirement of the optical interface repeater link are met, namely,

The MC FXB will transmit and receive over fibre optic links in excess of 2km and connect with VolAmps range of Fibre Optic converters , Transceiver and repeaters or other IEEE 802.3 products.
