Technical Description
The MS-FU4-G is a micro switch with a 1000 SX Fibre port which will support a link of 500m with multimode cable using a wavelength of 850nm. The optic is available for single mode at 1300nm for links up to 8km.
The copper will support 10/100 or 1G. It will negotiate with its link partner to achieve the maximum data rate they can mutually achieve. Cross over cables are not required as the unit will automatically correct. Indicators are provided to indicate speed, duplex and activity on copper and link activity on fibre.
