TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :

The SAFELUX 16 is a universal member of VolAmps series of Multiplexers and Line drivers and is designed to satisfy the majority of computer/ terminal communication systems at ranges up to and greater than 2km. It is the company’s intention to meet the requirements of TEMPEST with this unit.

Light to data inversion may be set on an individual channel basis to match with other manufacturer’s line drivers or embedded fibre optic equipment.

SECURITY FEATURES :

The unit WILL DETECT if link from SAFELUX to terminal is disconnected and WILL send resultant warning as a change of control line at the computer end LUX 16. Link error LED will be activated should the main line be disconnected and a control line DCD will signify this.
