The Volamp 10FL-PCMCIA has been designed and manufactured to a high level of performance and in accordance with ISO, IEEE and ECMA standards.
The 10FL-PCMCIA STP/UTP to Fibre Optic converter, a single channel conversion from Fibre Optic ST interface - STP/UTP interface, is Powered from the PCMCIA slot. The 10FL-PCMCIA offers a discreet package and can be easily installed without any specialist knowledge. The device when used in conjunction with multi-sourced UTP hubs provides an economical and versatile solution for secure rugged links up to 2km

The Volamp 10FL-PCMCIA is designed to the following standards:
IEEE 802.3 for 10 BASE T and 10 BASE FL

Electrical *:- +5v from PCMCIA slot.
Mechanical :- The unit is housed in a standard PCMCIA card shield (Type 2) and secured to the PC using a bespoke pod.
Environment :- Operating temperature IOC to +50oC , Storage temperature -20oC to +70oC
Humidity :-10% to 90% non-condensing
Signal Connectors :-ST Fibre Optic . RJ45
RJ45 Configured in Transceiver mode, allowing straight through patch cables to repeaters
